Hi all,
We all need to have a good posture for a healthy life. Lumbar region is a very important area for keeping a strong and balanced spine. In order to keep it strong a very important Bosu exercise should be applied.
EXERCISE:
Building
lumbar strength:
Place lower chest or stomach area over the bosu ball with straight legs, spread apart for stability and ball of the foot digging on the
floor. Rest hands on side of the ball, but do not use arms to push up. Then slowly
lift head and chest off the bosu, as high as comfortable, squeezing shoulder blades
while lifting. Return to start position slow, it can be done up to 10 times in a set and 3 sets in total. For a tougher version of this exercise: place your hands behind head.
Note : While lifting yourself , breath in and while coming
down slowly exhale while doing a repetition. Do it slow for better results and
muscle control and better strength building.Apply other exercises along with this to make it a structured strength program for your entire back.
