Well, we all look forward to having a smashing Sunday pancakes, but the high fat pancake loaded with sugary syrup , end up thinking twice about our health. So worry no more we can look positive now with this nutritious pancake with some adjustments.
USE:
- Wholemeal flour, instead of white flour adding more fibre to it, just sift it more for final fluff.
- Go for sugar free syrup instead of sugary syrup. You can even opt for your favourite whole fruit spread
- Use egg whites instead of whole eggs , thus dropping as much as 5g fat from each egg.
- If you don't have time to cook from zero, you can try out the low carb pancake mix, and don't go spoiling it with additional oil, butter etc
- Try out the new cooking spray - butter flavoured, fat free, yet giving you your perfect golden brown delicious dish.
This way you can still munch on your favourite sunday snack or a regular kids favourite dish without worrying of that belly expanding.
