saffron pistachios almond milk shake

Hello awesome people out there,

Milk has been a vital diet of us all. Many of us like it so much that we cant have enough, some people dont like it much because of the smell or taste, but its no doubt one of the best sources of natural protein and calcium along with hefty other good stuff.

We are gonna try something out of the old school recipe, lets say time tested by grandmother and theirs as well. Goes way back in time. But its not only tasty and nutritious it also changes the way we look at milk.
 lets get on with it!!!!!

SAFFRON AND PISTACHIOS AND ALMOND MILK SHAKE - YUMMMMMM!!!!!

WHAT YOU NEED:

  • 75 gm Pistachios - just let them soften up in water about an hour before you use it
  • 35 gm almonds - again let them soften up in water for couple of hours, preferably overnight for a soft texture in your shake, depends how you like.
  • Saffron strands - see how many you can hold in a pinch
  • 3 cups milk = cow/buffalo/goat or any other animal you like!!! not sure about that..hehe
  • 35 gm sugar.

NEXT STEP:

  • Start to heat the milk, stay below boiling point while bubbling gently, keep doing until the 3 cups of milk used in this process remain equivalent to 1 1/2 cups in the heating pan.
  • Meanwhile use a mortar pestle to fine grind the pistachios, almonds and saffron until it forms a smooth paste.
  • Next step is to add the paste in the milk and keep on stirring it for good mixing.
  • Try to bring it to boil about 2- 3 times and turn off the gas. leave it on till the temperature come down a little bit.
  • Shift it into any container for chilling in fridge. take out when it gets chilled. serve it then for maximum taste and fun.
