PALEO DIET

As we all know right eating leads to a better health and well being. We are all built in a different way and our bodies respond to foods differently, but right eating (good foods) will always make the right sense for our bodies. But majority of the people worldwide are still struggling with right eating habits.

EVOLUTION OF PALEO DIET?

Paleo diet is a reflection of what the early man ate. Early man didn't have the facility of cooking on gas or selecting the foods everyday, like we can today. They ate everything for their survival which included fresh meat, fish, leafy greens, tropical/regional fruits and seeds. Plus they needed to hunt all the time and try not to get hunted. They had to be very alert and active all the time and try to not get hunted by other animals. (survival instincts then were at highest level and cant be compared with today's human)

TRANSFORMATION

As time passed , things changed civilization happened, variety of food was produced and safety came, development took place and everyone got so busy with their "jobs" that their link was totally cut from how the ancestors ate to survive. A complete transformation from raw pure meat eaters to vegetarian foods/GM foods , grains, cereals, pasta, rice, corn eaters is highly debatable. Now large number of people in the world are obese and getting obese. Research has shown most of grains contain gluten and lectins. A big population is turning out to be gluten intolerant leading to digestive problems, joint pain, problems with better perfomance of body, hindrances etc. lectins can cause similar problems.

Paleo diet basic rules are very simple. The diet has to be sugar free, unprocessed foods(veg/non veg) and very selective grains, which is a path to better health. Besides all grains, milk is not supported in this diet. Justification, that early man's diet was milk free. Plus there is a considerable number of population in the world that is lactose intolerant and kids throughout the world have developed allergies beacuse of adultration and processed methods.

INGREDIENTS  OF PALEO DIET:
  • Most of the stuff eaten then by early man was pure and unadulterated. The fishes werent in farms(farm bred). The chicken /poultry werent farm manufacrtured either. The beef was more or less grass fed and not grain fed. The debatable part here is just like humans, animals also get allegric to grains and are able to pass that to humans through beef.
  • Vegetables organically grown, oils that are healthy to consume like olive oil and avocado oil
  • Organically grown fruits with their natural sugars
  • Nuts, organically produced and calorie dense are integral part of this diet
  • Omega 3 rich eggs and sweet potatoes (cant be adulterated)
HOW DOES IT HELP ME?

One of the most easy things with this diet and its ingridients is that these cannot be overeaten. Since they are so calorie dense you end up getting full fast and wont get fat.

HOW DO I EAT?

Make a food combo plan of what you are going to eat. If its pure non vegetarian like steak, fish , chicken etc add fruits and vegetarian portion along with it to balance the combination. Healthy fats are very important so they need to be a part of it, olive oil, almond butter, almonds/walnuts, avacado are just a few to name. Its very important for skinny people .For weightloss, balance fruits and nuts intake , especially nuts. Consume them keeping a check on your weight scale.
You dont have to eat every few hours, when hungry you can eat and when not skip meal, as body uses excess fat strorage as energy provider in hungry situations.
Eating wisely, eating good meal combos and you are making your metabolism healthy which in turn works faster for burning calories and fat.

In paleo diet (intermittent fasting) where unintentionally you miss out on a meal beacuse you are not hungry is ok as you compensate later through eating proper portion of foods (balanced)


NOTHING TO LOSE!!!

This diet is being tried all over the world. Now if you are not convinced you can give it a try for 3 weeks to 5 weeks. There is a catch to this diet, if you cut down on grains causing gluten problems and dairy, eat organically grown fresh fruits and vegetables, eat unadulterated meat (grass fed) less liquid calories and sugar you will end up losing wieight and improve health. There is plenty of information and debates on this diet and when you are unsure, just pick whats good for you and leave the rest.

THE MOST IMPORTANT THING IS TO DO REGULAR EXERCISE (CARDIO/STRENGTH) AND DRINK PLENTY OF WATER TO REAP THE FULL BENEFITS WHILE FOLLOWING THE PALEO DIET.
